To clarify a couple of points...yes I have quit olde musician..and no I havent quit Park Lane.
Olde Musician has been displaying an arrogant,disinterested attitude to the 'rock crowd' for quite some time now.They have been making it quite clear for a while that there nis a definate heirachy there...the regulars are more important than you lot.That makes me fucking sick.....
I turned up tonight and was spoken to rather apruptly by Dean the cunt(barman with a Hitler complex)and then when my brother went to by drink...was told that him,Leeroy and my missus were all barred for some bullshit(provoked by Charlie the fat mentalist)which wasnt even a barring type offence.And then he said "if any more of you cunts that come here on a Saturday night act up they'll get the same"
Fuck that!
I am not standing for it at all...I was going to do the decent thing and give them some sort of notice before starting at the Matrix...but like I said...fuck them...it has cost me a lot of money...but fuck them...I have no time for them when they have attitude like that towards the people that I care for and respect....then fuck them.And I have.Where it hurts.
RIP Olde Musician...you wont be missed.

It is a barring type offence if a member of stuff there see's fit. Who are you to try and tell them how to run the place.

Becuase of the amount of time you said the word "fuck" during the last paragraph proves the point of the whole post. You lost your temper and walked out.

True a barring offence is what the bar staff see as one...yet it should be justified...and I was there and it was merely a minor disagreement with a guy with a hitler complex.I was angry,and have been at their treatment of people for a long time...but by no means did I lose my temper and walk out....I stood and mulled it over for quite a while,deciding on a course of action...and took the only one that was feasible....when someone(me) has brought a lot of custom to the place like I had,the last thing they want to be doing is barring my brother,my girlfriend and a close friend AS WELL as treating my other compatriots like dirt.
As for the regulars comment....~sigh~here we go....when I first started there Mark wanted to attract my crowd there ALL week and not just weekends-he was going to have kerrang or mtv2 on and put some rock cds in the jukebox...people were going thursdays,Tuesdays and often popping in for a drink...so by that very nature there were themselves REGULARS...and besides if anything....new customers should get treat the same as the other ones do...so they come back...its called good business....there are a few people I cant stand in gy....but if they ask for a track I am just as inclined to play it as anyone else...because lets face it...its easy for a friend to enjoy themselves at one of my nights...but someone who doesnt like me...will be a lot more critical of what I am doing...so if anything..I will do more for them to prove that while I may not like them as a person...I appreciate them as a customer..But to make it clear that regulars are WAYYY more important than newcomers to the pub is ridiculous....especially when a few of them are complete and total tits(like the cunt who shouts CRAP! whenever anyone but his music is played).
But what pisses me off most...and its something I can do nothing about...is when a loser gets a bar job...realises he is a fucking loser and cannot do anything else with his life...and wields that tiny amount of power he has as if he were the most important person in the world...there are lots of them about..hell theres one in the barge too...and it disgusts me..
See....not a 'fuck' in sight.
